November marks the end of my term as President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® San Antonio. It has been a tremendous honor and privilege to serve in this capacity, and I am deeply grateful for the trust and support all have shown me throughout this journey.
As I look back on our time together, I am filled with a profound sense of pride and gratitude.
Our council was founded on the principles of empowerment, unity, and professional development. Our Mission: “We are a network of successful REALTORS advancing women as business leaders in the industry and in the communities that we serve. Throughout this term, we have worked towards fulfilling that mission, and I am proud to say that we have made significant progress in the following key areas:.
Education: We organized 4 powerful industry events: Mastering our Finances; Overcoming Objections; Making It Rain in Real Estate and The 3 Unspoken Truths to equip our members with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their real estate careers. The Women’s Council of REALTORS® has always been committed to promoting professional growth, and we have taken significant steps forward in accomplishing that.
Networking: We have promoted a strong sense of community and support within our council. Through our 5 membership mixer events, we have connected women from all walks of life and provided them with a network of like-minded individuals who share the same passion for the real estate industry.
Community Involvement: We collaborated with NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) for a fun event, The Realtor Olympics, with the money raised being donated to “Life Restored SA” to help make a meaningful impact on the lives of those less fortunate, demonstrating that our council cares about the well-being of society as a whole.
As my term comes to an end, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my amazing TEAM: the 2023 board of directors and the incredible individuals who have worked and volunteered alongside me. Your dedication, passion, and expertise have been instrumental in achieving our council goals.
I would also like to thank our members, without whom our council would not exist. Your active participation, enthusiasm, and commitment to our shared mission have made all the difference.
Lastly, I want to thank all of our 2023 Strategic Partners! It is because of partners like you that we have achieved remarkable success and made a positive impact on our industry and community.
While my time as President may be concluding, our journey as an organization is far from over. As I pass the torch to my successor, Angelica Erosa; I have every confidence that the Women’s Council of REALTORS® will continue to make a lasting impact in the years to come.
I want to leave you with a message of hope and inspiration. Remember that as women in the real estate industry, we are capable of achieving greatness beyond our wildest dreams. Let us continue to push the boundaries, break through glass ceilings, and inspire each other.
Thank you for your support and for the opportunity to serve as your 2023 President. I look forward to seeing the great things our council will bring to the San Antonio Network in the future.
