Furthermore, 54% of members refer business to other members annually, with the top reason being that Council membership signifies a high-level business leader who will follow through on client needs.

The Women’s Council of REALTORS® is made up of strong business leaders, and 71% of members agree that their involvement in the organization has helped them become stronger leaders and develop advanced leadership skills for their business, community, and personal lives. Additionally, 60% of members report being leaders in their local community, and 20% of the NAR Board of Directors hold membership with the Women’s Council.

WCR is also proud to invest in the industry, with a 66% participation rate in RPAC. The total annual investment of Women’s Council members is $3.4 million, with 573 President’s Circle members, 1,778 major investors, and Hall of Fame members. Membership in the Women’s Council offers several benefits, with 93% of members reporting that it gives them a sense of professional pride and satisfaction, and 91% stating that it provides them with skills and information to deal with a changing business environment.

The Women’s Council of REALTORS® holds two major events every year that coincide with NAR’s meetings namely the Midyear Meeting and the National Conference. The 2024 Midyear Meeting will be held on May 7-9 at the Westin Washington, DC Downtown, while the National Conference will be held on November 6-10 at the Westin Copley in Boston, MA.

One of the most significant opportunities for leadership development within the Women’s Council is the Leadership Institute. With over 80 years of experience, the Leadership Institute is considered the gold standard in the industry for developing leaders who have demonstrated potential through their local and state networks. Throughout the year, WCR offers Mastermind Groups, which bring together like-minded professionals to further advance women as business leaders in the industry and the communities they serve. These groups are divided into three distinct specialty groups: Global, Commercial, and Broker/Owner & Business Building. The Texas WCR network also hosts two state conferences each year that are held in conjunction with Texas REALTORS® conferences.
